There has been a gain of 30 businesses in Monongahela and that the city is thriving in many ways, including increasing population, more employment opportunities and positive projects in the area, among other things.
Among those positive events, other concerts being held in local venues, and restaurants popping up downtown, was the annual Monongahela Area Chamber of Commerce Halloween parade, which many in attendance cited as the best that they had seen in the city yet.
That’s not all the holiday spirit that the city will boast, though, as it was announced that Merry and Bright Night will be held Nov. 18 with a bit of a twist.
