Firefighters responded to a structure fire in Charleroi around 11 p.m. Thursday. Charleroi VFD Chief Robert Whiten Jr. said the fire occurred along Meadow Avenue. Crews were on scene within seconds and confirmed a working structure fire with smoke billowing from the windows and flames shooting from the roof.
