After six straight trips to the WPIAL semifinals and two title game appearances in the past three seasons, Belle Vernon Area head coach Matt Humbert finally has his championship. The Leopards’ 24-7 win over Avonworth Friday night gave Belle Vernon its first WPIAL crown since the 1995 season.
