Mayor Ron Mozer talked to Monessen’s school board Tuesday about plans to revitalize the city, emphasizing collaboration between city leaders and school board members. “The habitat children grow up in is critical to their success,” Mozer said. “The general household environment children in our district grow up in can lead to pathological behavior dysfunction, lower literacy scales — the list goes on and on.
