Opposition heard as Olympus hearings conclude

Two parents delivered riveting closing statements Tuesday in opposition to fracking near Elizabeth Forward High School. Conditional use hearings for Olympus Energy’s Hera well pad and interconnect station officially adjourned last night, giving Elizabeth Township commissioners until Jan. 13 to render their decision. Parties to the case have until Dec. 16 to submit additional evidence or written legal arguments.
