Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital hosted its 36th annual Light-Up the Night celebration after a two-year hiatus.
“It’s great to see the faces of the community as the pandemic continues to subside,” said Penn Highlands Healthcare Regional Market President — Southwestern Region and president of Penn Highlands Mon Valley Peter J. Adamo said. “We thank the community for being supportive over the past two years and we’re excited to restore a little normalcy with an event like this. It’s our job to serve the people of the area and we’re proud to earn that privilege.”
Adamo spoke to a large crowd in the Carroll Township hospital’s outdoor Central Plaza to kick off the event, expressing his enthusiasm for the turnout and discussing the institution’s continuing mission to improve quality of life in the region.
