South Allegheny School District leaders host town hall for residents

Nearly five dozen South Allegheny School District staff members and residents piled into the Port Vue Borough Building Monday night to discuss the present and future of the district.
Leaders in the South Allegheny School District hosted the town hall meeting.
The meeting featured a presentation from administrators and a question-and-answer session with parents after the slideshow. Among those in attendance were members of the school board, Port Vue council, teachers and faculty members and residents.
South Allegheny School District comprises the boroughs of Glassport, Liberty, Lincoln and Port Vue.
The event was spearheaded by acting Superintendent David McDonald, Director of Secondary Education Chuck Michael and Director of Elementary Education Michael Calvert.
