Donora council addresses flood in evidence room

Flooding this week in the evidence room at the Donora Police Department has raised new questions about the handling of evidence in the borough. The Washington County District Attorney’s office has controlled borough police evidence since August, when council placed former police superintendent Jim Brice on paid leave. At that time, the DA filed an emergency petition to take control of the evidence room.
