Wolpink’s late bucket wins it for Cal

The Frazier-California rivalry on the basketball court has become onr of the best in the Valley over the past few seasons and both teams played like it when they met at DiVirgilio Field House Thursday. This round, though, goes to the visitors. Cole Wolpink scored seven points in the second half, but none bigger than his uncontest layup with less than a second remaining to give the Trojans a thrilling 73-71 win over the Commodores in front of a rowdy crowd.
