Charlene Malie, 87, of Donora, passed away Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at UPMC Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh. She was born July 2, 1935, in North Charleroi, daughter of the late Matthew Robson and the late Gladys Lawrence Robson. Charlene was employed as a pharmaceutical technician at Manor drug store in Donora, and later at Bartolotta’s Giant Eagle before retirement. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick R. Malie; a son, David Malie; and a brother, Raymond Robson. Surviving to cherish her memory are her sons, Patrick (Sheila) Malie of Massachusetts, Shawn (LaDonna) Malie of Virginia and Matthew Malie of Donora; grandchildren, Crystal (Ben) Hart, David Malie, Casey Malie, and Patrick (Jenna Balogh) Malie; and a great granddaughter, Emma Lynn Hart.
