Firefighters able to save Fallowfield Twp. house

Multiple area fire departments responded to a fire in Fallowfield Township Saturday night, and crews were able to get the blaze under control quickly. The fire started in a chimney and spread to the attic, according to first responders.

By responding promptly, multiple area fire departments on Saturday prevented a Fallowfield Township house from being destroyed. That’s according to the Fallowfield Fire Company. In a Facebook post, the Charleroi Fire Department said the fire at the home on Bentleyville Road “extended from a chimney into the attic.”
