Monessen jumped out to an early lead, then needed a long second-half run to put away host California in the opening game of the MVI Girls Shootout Classic Friday. Sidney Campbell scored a career-high 15 points to lead a trio of double-digit scorers as the Greyhounds claimed a 55-33 win.
