Class 5A Thomas Jefferson held a slim one-point advantage at halftime before pulling away in the second half of a 68-59 win over Class 4A West Mifflin in nonsection play Friday night. Evan Berger inched closer to joining the 1,000-point club, as he poured in a game-high 28 points. He’s now 13 points shy of the milestone with TJ (9-5) slated to meet Woodland Hills in another non-section bout at Chatham University tonight.
