The Superior Court of Pennsylvania has granted an application to expedite the appeal filed by the Reporters Committee for the Freedom of the Press, the Mon Valley Independent and two other local newspapers that seek the unsealing of arrest warrant information in the case against a man accused in connection with a November homicide in Rostraver Township. RCFP has been working with the MVI, the Herald Standard and Observer Reporter to unseal the public docket information that has been kept secret since shortly after the shooting death of 49-year-old Boyke Budiarachman in the Rostraver Square parking lot Nov. 5 and Keven Van Lam’s arrest a day or two later.
