McKeesport showed why it is one of the top teams in Class 5A Thursday night in a 70-19 victory over Connellsville in Section 3 (5A) girls’ basketball action at Connellsville Area High School. The Tigers (14-3, 7-1) lost two games last week to solid competition in section foe Oakland Catholic (16-2, 9-0) and non-section South Fayette (15-2, 5-0), but defeated Greater Latrobe Tuesday before topping the Falcons (3-15, 0-9).
