Patricia M. Christner, 73, of North Belle Vernon, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023. Born in Mt. Pleasant on July 4, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Albert Raymond and Ethel Pearl Grubb Lemley. Patricia was a beautician and had her own beauty shop; she had also worked at Kmart and MarBill in Belle Vernon. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Belle Vernon, was a founding member of the Rostraver Youth Commission and was a member of the Hungarian Club. She also worked at the Rostraver Central Fire Hall bingo night for many years. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a selfless person. Her priorities were her family. She is survived by her husband, Charles M. Christner Jr.; sons, James E. (Laurie) Christner of North Belle Vernon, John E. (Tracy) Christner of Rostraver and Christopher M. (Desiree) Christner Sr. of Rostraver; grandchildren, Jenna M. (Aaron) McCullough, Christopher M. (Kaity) Christner Jr. and Megan Christner (Jake Amatangelo); brother, Michael (Lana) Lemley of Rostraver; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Alberta Bittner, Mary Lasalle, Robert Lemley, Barbara Krasonic, Glen Lemley, Lorraine Quintier, Betty Lemley, Leonard Lemley, Carl Lemley, James Lemley, Nina Valent and Donald Lemley. Friends will be received from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with Pastor Ken Sommerfeldt officiating. Interment will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery.
