Donora council received four letters of interest regarding the borough’s new committee to manage the sale of the former Donora Elementary Center. During Thursday’s work session, Councilman Gib Szakal provided an update on the emerging committee. Originally, council sought two members of the public to join after announcing the committee’s creation last month. However, Szakal, who chairs the committee, said council may expand the seats to all those interested in serving on it.
