Ever since Joe Kudla became a scout in first grade, he’s looked to go above and beyond in leading his peers. On Feb. 19, Kudla’s efforts were rewarded as the member of Troop 1543 in Belle Vernon earned the rank of Eagle Scout after completing his project of cleaning up the entrance to the Church of Saint Anne.
