Despite an error-filled top of the fifth inning that made Thomas Jefferson coach Heidi Karcher want to “rip someone’s face off” coupled with a four-run deficit entering the bottom of the seventh, Morgan Alisesky stepped up to the plate representing the winning run with two teammates on.
