Belle Vernon’s girls soccer team kept their slim playoff hopes alive Monday with a 4-1 rivalry win over Ringgold on the brisk beach at James Weir Stadium. With the win, the Leopards (6-8-1, 5-6-1) sit 1 1/2 games behind fourth-place Laurel Highlands in the standings and must win their next two games against Uniontown Wednesday and second-place Elizabeth Forward next week.
