Robert Megela goes out of his way to recycle — about 17 miles out of his way. Megela, 70, of Penn Township will drive from his home to the Westmoreland Cleanways and Recycling Center in Pleasant Unity to drop off used glass items, which are not collected by the township’s recycler, Republic Services Inc. of Phoenix.
