Ground broken for new office building in Charleroi

Patience is a virtue. That statement was proven true Thursday morning when local, county and state elected officials gathered with other stakeholders at the site of the Mon Valley Alliance’s newest groundbreaking along McKean Avenue in Charleroi — a project more than six years in the making. The project will create a 6,485-square-foot office building at the corner of Second Street and McKean Avenue. It will be at the site of the former Atlas Warehouse building that came down six years ago.
