The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum held a grand opening Thursday morning for its new Welcome and Education Center. The additional building for the museum was decades in the making and is open to the public starting today. A crowd of about 200 volunteers, members, staff, community leaders and media attended the grand opening, which began with a brisk outside ribbon-cutting performed by museum leadership and local elected officials at the building located at 2500 North Main St. in Washington.
