Rostraver budget proposal includes 3-mill tax increase

Rostraver Township commissioners are considering a proposed 2024 budget with a 3-mill tax rate increase, representing the township’s first tax hike in more than 15 years. During Wednesday’s meeting, the preliminary budget was presented with a tax millage rate of 18 mills and a 3 mill rate for fire protection. The 18-mill rate represents a 3-mill increase, or $45 more on average per home per year.
