Girl Scout hopes to sell enough cookies for Bag Brigade donations

One of the Girl Scouts’ biggest missions is to give back. In her fifth year as a scout with Troop 60052 in Belle Vernon, 9-year-old Lydia Coffee has a special goal this year for her cookie sale. Girl Scouts are famous for their boxed cookie fundraisers, and the money from sales is typically used to help local programs in the communities they serve. The annual cookie sale kicked off Jan. 9.
