Elizabeth Township: $1.5 million approved for Boston Ballfield project

The Elizabeth Township Board of Commissioners approved more than $1.5 million for the completion of a revitalized Boston Ballfield, which the board expects to open in August. This ballfield represents the first phase of a planned series of sports facility construction projects. Completion of the entire project could take five to seven years, according to councilman Chris Thoma.
