The Serra Catholic boys’ basketball team knew they were facing a tall task Friday night at North Allegheny High School, as they had to contend against the defending Class 2A champion and current top seed Aliquippa. Despite the Quips holding the height and speed advantage, the Eagles went blow for blow with the heavy favorite and fought to the very end.
