Cereal boxes topple like dominoes

For the fourth annual year, cereal boxes toppled like dominoes Wednesday at Rostraver Elementary School. Students and staff from both Rostraver and Marion elementary schools collected full-size cereal boxes to be used for domino falls at each school. The boxes will then be given to the volunteer-run Bag Brigade and distributed to Belle Vernon Area School District students who receive bags of food each week. Rostraver Elementary Center sixth-graders Joel Chalus and Josh Bowman had the honor of starting the domino chain of knocking down the first cereal box. Watching intently and cheering them on are kindergartners. Marion Elementary School students will participate in their domino cereal drop today. Photos by Jenn Codeluppi / Mon Valley Independent
