Lois L. Hill Priode Kocher, 85, of Elizabeth, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Whitehall Borough Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born Jan. 12, 1939, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late George and Betty Cooper Hill. A 1957 graduate of McKeesport High School, Lois was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed spending time volunteering at McKeesport Hospital. Her only daughter was the focus of her life. Surviving are her husband, Charles G. Kocher, whom she married on Sept. 2, 1989; three stepdaughters, Tracy Kocher of Monongahela, Terri Miske of Whitehall, and Tammy Kocher of Rocky River, Ohio; along with nieces, nephews and several step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Keri Prihode; her first husband, Herb; and her three sisters, Grace, Betty and Bootsie.
