Marsha L. Vig Galiotto, 77, of West Newton, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. Born Aug. 28, 1946, in Brownsville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Betty Keene. A resident of West Newton for the past 52 years, Mrs. Galiotto was an active member of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon where she would attend Sunday services and Bible studies on Wednesday religiously. Marsha loved to bake and cook for her family and was known to have the best gobs around. She always had an open door to anyone who needed to talk, she was a great listener and gave great advice for those who sought it. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Shawn W. and Tracy Galiotto of West Newton; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Steve Kenderes of West Newton; four grandchildren, Alyssa and Marc Brown, Dillon and Ashley Galiotto, Steven Kenderes, Lauren Kenderes; and three great-grandchildren, Anthony Brown, Aila Brown and Greyson Galiotto. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley C. Galiotto. Visitation and funeral services were held privately for the family on Wednesday with Pastor Sam Batton officiating. Interment took place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
