WEC Engineers, Inc. is requesting a nearly $129,000 increase in engineering costs for the work completed on Phase 4 of Monessen’s sewer rehabilitation project, but city officials expressed concern with how the additional fees were communicated to them. Phase 4 included the replacement of sewer pipes in the areas of Shawnee and Ninth Street Parks.
