Luke Ripepi began his boxing career as a result of a friendly argument. A 2021 graduate of Thomas Jefferson, Ripepi was back home from college and was talking to one of his college buddies on the phone and they had a disagreement. “My friend, who lives in Maryland, and I had a little argument,” Ripepi said. “He said we would settle it with gloves and headgear when we got back to school.”
