Donora Council will consider an ordinance that would give the borough’s code enforcement office the power to execute administrative search warrants in certain situations when code violations can result in dangerous conditions. Council discussed the possibility of introducing such an ordinance briefly in March, but it was put on the April workshop agenda for further discussion. At the voting session, council voted 6-1 in favor of Solicitor Steve Toprani drafting the ordinance for review at the May workshop meeting.
