Marian G. Griffith Ingram, 86, of New Eagle, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. Born June 6, 1937, in Coal Center, she was the daughter of the late Leonel and Margaret Tucker Griffith. After her graduation, Marian worked as a seamstress for the Halco Sewing Factory until her retirement. A member of First Baptist Church in Monongahela, she loved attending church and listening to her favorite songs, “The Old Rugged Cross” and “Amazing Grace.” Surviving are eight children, George (Tammy) Ingram of Dubois; Ronald Ingram of New Eagle (Debbie Coldtz) Fallowfield Township; twins, Michael Ingram and Phyllis (Robert) Jones of Brownsville; Steven Ingram (Becky Fleming) of Perryopolis; Janet (Russell) Conte of Portland, Ore.; Carole Chionchio of Marone, N.C.; and Barbara (David) Henderson of Altoona; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, JR; and two sisters, Elma and Margaret. Friends will be received at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, from 10 a.m. to noon, Friday, April 5, 2024, at which time services will begin with Pastor Ken Kirby officiating.
