Norma Jean Krukowsky Lasko – Perryopolis

Norma Jean Krukowsky Lasko, 88, of Perryopolis, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Mountain View Memory Care in Greensburg. Born June 16, 1935, in Jefferson Township, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Victoria Maruszewski Krukowsky. A lifelong resident of Perryopolis, Mrs. Lasko was a faithful member of St. John The Baptist Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed attending weekly Mass and helping out at the parish festival. Norma enjoyed a long, loving marriage of 50-plus years with her husband, Raymond, and had a very close relationship with her large extended family. She especially looked forward to the Lasko and Krukowsky family reunions. She loved playing cards, especially euchre, and really enjoyed polka music and dancing. Some of her favorite times at Mt. View were the days they had any type of music for entertainment. Norma’s most cherished times were those spent in Florida with her sisters, Loretta and Priscilla, and their families. She was always so thankful for those memories! Norma also valued the friendships she made while working at the sewing factory years ago. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Victoria and Jimmy Narron; daughter-in-law, Denise Lasko; sister, Loretta Manack; two granddaughters, Alexis and Mike Petrosky and Jessica and Mac McGowan; and five great- grandchildren, Travis, Nolace, Neville, Ruby and Dena, whom she loved with all her heart and brought her so much happiness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Richard Lasko Sr.; daughter, Deborah Travis; son, Raymond Lasko Jr.; and many brothers and sisters. A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2024, at St. John The Baptist RC Church with the Rev. Rodolfo Mejia as celebrant. Mrs. Lasko’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 191 Liberty St., Perryopolis, 724-736-2515. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Norma J. Lasko to St. John the Baptist RC Church, Perryopolis. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Mountain View Memory Care and Redstone Hospice for their comfort and care for Norma.
