Monessen City Council voted unanimously to buy a purchase-order software system in an effort to improve its record keeping with an eye toward reining in spending as well. Mayor Ron Mozer and Accounts Payable Clerk Tamika Arnold did the leg work to collect estimates and information from three companies.
